Chapter One: Introduction
1.1 Background of the Study
Cross-cultural collaboration in festival organization fosters unity, mutual understanding, and the sharing of diverse cultural values. In Maiduguri Metropolitan Council, Borno State, festivals such as the Durbar and Sallah celebrations attract participants from various ethnic and cultural backgrounds. Collaboration among these groups is essential for ensuring inclusivity and the successful execution of events.
